Who We Are

Wild Card is led by husband-and-wife team, Nick and Alison Temple. Founded in 2007, Wild Card is an independent agency created with the goal of building a community of highly-talented, creative people who are passionate about film, music, gaming and advertising. We bring a myriad of talents and passions together to create meaningful, groundbreaking campaigns for our clients and audiences everywhere.

Alison Temple

Chief Executive Officer

Alison Temple is CEO of Wild Card. Previously Managing Partner of 3AM, Alison has a breadth of experience across the entertainment and advertising industries. As EVP of Theatrical Marketing, she built the Creative Content marketing model at 20th Century Fox, leading in the launch of campaigns for mega-franchises such as Avatar, X-Men and Planet of the Apes.

Alison launched her entertainment career as Head of Production for the commercial production company Motion Blur, and then at Trailer Park as Executive Producer for the Production and Motion Graphics Division.

She currently sits on the Board of Directors for LA's Promise Fund, a nonprofit organization that prepares LA's students for success in college, career, and life.

Nick Temple

Founder and Chief Creative Officer

Nick Temple is Founder and Creative Director of Wild Card. As an award-winning editor, Nick spent four years at Trailer Park working with filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood and Ridley Scott. In 2007, he ventured out on his own to start Wild Card -- a trailer house with just 4 employees. Today, Wild Card has grown to be a leading entertainment marketing agency with over 70 employees servicing entertainment, gaming and brands worldwide.

Nick started his career at New Wave Entertainment as a not-so-good runner.

Tara DeVeaux

EVP & Chief Marketing Officer

Tara DeVeaux is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Wild Card and an award-winning brand and entertainment marketer. Her career has spanned advertising, television and tech, giving her the experience and insights to innovate in a continuously evolving marketing landscape. Tara's leadership on brands such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Electronic Arts, Kraft, Starbucks, J&J, HBO, TNT, National Geographic Channel and P&G earned her teams over 200 creative awards.

Tara came to Wild Card in July, 2018 from BBDO New York where she led the marketing team, focusing on business development, partnerships and agency branding. Although Brooklyn, NY is her first love, she now happily calls LA her home.

Onna Frye

Chief Operations Officer

Onna Frye Mahoney is Chief Operating Officer of Wild Card. She began her career at The Cimarron Group where she rose to VP of Production and Accounting, and was instrumental in launching the company's brand advertising agency, Traffic.

Onna joined Wild Card in 2008 and as COO, oversees all day-to-day aspects of production, operations and facilities. Her extensive knowledge of the company makes her vital to the design and implementation of effective business operations, policies and procedures that promote the company's overall culture and mission.

PJ Nachman

Chief Financial Officer

P.J. Nachman is Chief Financial Officer of Wild Card. P.J. joined Wild Card in 2019 to help drive the financial and strategic direction of the company. Prior to Wild Card, P.J. served as CFO of Dreamscape Immersive and Wiredrive (now SHIFT). Previously, he served as a private equity investor at The Gores Group, Marlin Equity Partners and Angelo Gordon & Co. With over 20 years of senior investment and operating experience, P.J. has advised, invested in and operated growth-stage technology and media businesses at strategic inflection points with an eye towards long-term value creation. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA from Wesleyan University.

Ramiro Medina

Chief Talent Officer

Ramiro Medina is Chief Talent Officer of Wild Card. He has a diverse background with more than 20 years of human resources/talent experience with aerospace and defense companies such as JPL, Raytheon and Boeing and lifestyle brands such as Red Bull, True Religion and Machinima. Ramiro's career has focused on building high-performing teams in high-pressure, must-win environments. In addition to sailing, his passion is in empowering individuals and teams to reach peak potential through self-guided engagement and self-motivation while keeping talent initiatives tied directly to business goals.

Ramiro came to Wild Card in March, 2019 from Virgin Hyperloop One.

Rich Oldfield

Chief Technology Officer

Rich Oldfield is the Chief Technology Officer at Wild Card. Rich’s foundation in film production and post-production transformed into a passion for the technology side of the business. Thriving in companies eager for growth, Rich comes to Wild Card with over 20 years of media and entertainment experience, where he was instrumental in the expansion of theatrical marketing agencies Trailer Park, Ignition Creative, and Ignition London. Rich specializes in studio security standards, leading strong technology teams, and designing technology infrastructures for the creative industry.

Arty Pearson

EVP & Executive Creative Director

Arty Pearson is EVP and Executive Creative Director of the editorial team at Wild Card. He is an award-winning creative executive with over 20 years' experience in feature film advertising, having worked on both the agency and client side of the business. He began his career at CMP (now Mocean) as a writer/producer, spent six years as a creative director at Open Road Entertainment, and was EVP, Creative Advertising at Relativity for 3 years. He is a graduate of UCLA School of Film/TV and a die-hard Cubs fan.

Evan DeHaven

Executive Creative Director, 3AM

Evan DeHaven is Executive Creative Director of 3AM. Evan’s early love of entertainment began with jobs as a PA at a young age. In 2005, he founded Evoke Thought Process, with the goal of telling stories across multiple platforms and creative disciplines. The boutique agency quickly grew, bringing on clients like WB, Universal, Paramount, Pixar, Disney, FX, Fox and HBO. In 2009, they merged with Ignition Creative, expanding their capabilities and client list. Within two years the combined agency was Digital Agency of the Year and winning Cannes Lions, Webbys, Key Art and One Show awards.

Wanting to get a taste of the client side, he joined Nike as Global Brand Director in 2013, overseeing marketing across categories and worldwide territories for Nike's customization efforts and NIKEiD.

Evan joined Wild Card in March, 2019 from 72andSunny where he was Creative Director of Hecho en 72 collaborating with brands like Google, YouTube, Instagram, Activision, Coors, Starbucks, Infiniti, Adidas and Carl's Jr.

Shawn Shahani

Director of Insights

Shawn Shahani is Director of Insights@Wild Card. Shawn worked in brand, entertainment and digital strategy for more than 10 years, both in-house and at digital, experiential and creative agencies. Prior to joining Wild Card, Shawn was Strategy Director at R/GA’s Hustle, leading the agency’s strategy team and servicing culture-first clients such as Beats by Dre and 20th Century Fox. Previously he was co-head of Havas New York’s social capability, led digital strategy for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment at Momentum Worldwide and was the first hire of Hearst-owned digital agency iCrossing’s Live Media Studio content practice.

Tricia Olds

Creative Director

Tricia Olds is Creative Director of the Social Content Team at Wild Card. She leads the team in the development of audience-first, social campaigns for all things entertainment from inception to execution. Since joining Wild Card in April 2019, Tricia has built a team of highly skilled artists and makers that create provocative and breakthrough content for an evolving digital market.

Her past experience includes leading award-winning campaigns at VaynerMedia LA and NYC. Prior to advertising, Tricia taught storytelling with the nonprofit organization Opening Act. Her education at Tisch School of the Arts and past experience with Upright Citizens Brigade has informed her process, as well as her collaborative approach to working with her team, Wild Card clients and agency partners.

Louie Lorenzo

VP, Client Operations

Louie Lorenzo is VP of Client Operations for Wild Card. He is an award-winning creative executive and oversees the company’s strategic partnerships on campaigns that span multiple departments within the agency. This includes Insights, 3AM, AV, and the Social Content Team.

With over 20 years experience in entertainment marketing, Louie grew his career to encompass print, broadcast, interactive, branded content and social. Throughout his career he has collected a broad range of experience in marketing, production and account management while working with clients such as Apple, Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, Walt Disney Studios, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, 2K Games, Blizzard, Riot Games, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics.
