Hello Future

It starts with hello.

In 2019, Wild Card partnered with the LA Promise Fund to support Hello Future, the organization’s annual STEM summit for LAUSD middle and high school students. Our team was honored to develop the Hello Future identity along with a brand strategy based on the insight that no matter what age we are, we all share some trepidation about the future. This inspired a campaign that made the future seem a little less scary by simply asking everyone to “Start with Hello.”

At the summit, which hosted 11,000 students over the course of two days, we sent two female co-directors to interview some of young women in attendance about their vision of the future, and we’ve created a series of videos that feature these bright students and drive further awareness for the organization.

Hyped For Hello Future

Our social team created a suite of diverse assets from speaker announce and registration-driving assets for social channels, to custom Giphy stickers, to a full Instagram Stories toolkit for the LAPF team to use for on the ground event coverage.

Brand Identity

Branding approach

The platform of “Start with Hello” organized and anchored all aspects of our campaign. This simple message inspired our design of the brand logo — which we wanted to feel modern, open, and inclusive. Our bright gradient color palette felt contemporary, cool, and positive. With these elements in place, we developed branding toolkits to ensure the campaign was cohesive across event signage, swag, badges, newsletters, and social.
