In partnership with the studio and filmmaker, we employed a holistic design approach, inspired by the tonal building blocks of Garret Wilson’s provocative and emotionally dynamic narrative. We began by expanding the filmmaker’s original b/w logo artwork, evoking the film’s central themes through wrap-around animation. The logo’s emergent “A,” bound by an interconnected grid of letters, calls to mind the burgeoning world of Artificial Intelligence amidst the destruction of humanity. The animation resolves to a futuristic, fully-realized type-setting, bridging the divide between man and machine, and inviting us to imagine a future of co-dependence and connection.
